Master Communications was founded
in 1994 with the goal of providing superior educational products and
services for children around the world. We promote cultural understanding
by creating and distributing books, audio, video, crafts, greeting
cards, dolls that are multicultural and multilingual.
Master Communications holds the world-wide
broadcasting and video rights to the highly acclaimed Families
of the World series which is great for fostering
understanding of cultures of many countries around the world.
Families of the World
series was created by Mark and Georgi Marquisee,
who are busy planning and producing more Families of the World.

Eleanor "Georgi" Marquisee
- Georgi has produced and supervised hundreds of award-winning programs.
(see attached list). She is currently producing, "Families of the
World", a highly acclaimed series of half-hour educational programs
for children on family life in other countries. Active in the business
community, Georgi served on the Federal Reserve Bank's Small Business
and Agricultural Advisory Board and Delaware Council for International
Visitors, was a founding board member of People to People International
Delaware, Delaware Women's Television Project and Wilmington's Urban
Environmental Center. Before joining Arden, she taught art to grades
1-12, did art therapy at a residential treatment center for emotionally
disturbed children, and served as a Justice of the Peace/Magistrate
for the State of Delaware. Georgi obtained her BA in art from College
of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota, and an MS in psychiatric
art therapy from Hahnemann Medical College (now Hahnemann University),
now Allegheny University. She has been a featured alumni of both schools
and her work is in the permanent collection of the College. Georgi
and Mark have been married more than 25 years and have a son, Evan,
an artist and writer.
Mark Marquisee - Founder and
Principal Mark started Arden Media Resources nearly 30 years ago with
a portion of the 1968 Nobel Prize in Medicine that was presented to
his doctoral advisor, Dr. Robert Holly, which Dr. Holly shared with
the co-authors of his study. In addition to on-going corporate and
non-profit work, Mark's cinematography and videography have covered
a wide variety of subjects. "The History of the Swiss Army Knife",
a humorous satire on arms escalation that Mark produced with an "Established
Artist Grant" from the Delaware State Arts Council, won 6 major international
awards. He produces an on-going series of shorts featuring artists
and their work called RAVE, Regional Artists' Video Exchange. For
over 20 years he has shot and produced segments for Sesame street,
one of the best-known and loved children's programs in the world,
and he is primary videographer for an on-going series, "Families of
the World", highly acclaimed programs for children on family life
in other countries. Mark obtained a BF degree at New York State College
of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse and a BS in biochemistry
from Syracuse University. He earned his Ph.D. from Cornell University
and worked as a research biochemist in Central Research for the DuPont
Company for 11 years before he and a partner started Arden Films,
Inc. in 1968. Mark and his wife, Georgi, live in Wilmington, Delaware
and have a son, Evan, who is an artist and writer.
